Strategy & Planning:
Participate in support capacity planning and the development of long-term
strategic goals for systems and software in partners with the business.
Operational Management:
Troubleshoot and resolve user desktop applications issues
Perform client software installations
Manage end user accounts, access rights in accordance with corporate compliance policies
Exchange email accounts creation and configuration
Perform and support desktop backup and restores
Provide printing support
Imaging desktops/laptops with Windows OS
Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers
Quickly adapt to desktop business processes
Possess basic project management experience
Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use
Personal Attributes:
Should be able to solve complex issues
Possess good written and oral communication skills, and be able to work with little or no supervision
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Escalate issues appropriately, and remotely provide services to field offices and home users
Highly self motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Qualifications for this position are B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent job
experience. Minimum of 3-4 years of System Administration experience.
Candidate must be adept with MS Windows operating systems. Working
knowledge of Mac OS, Linux and network LAN experience is a definite plus.
