Project ManagerVES and Artex Barn Solutions have recently merged to create VES-Artex, the premier technology solutions provider for environmental systems in agricultural facilities.
The combined company will be based in its new Global Headquarters and Innovation Center in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, while leveraging both companies' operations throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America and the rest of the world.
The creation of VES-Artex integrates each organization's focus on animal wellbeing as the foundation for agricultural success, while strengthening its capabilities to impact agricultural operational performance through connected technologies and the Internet of things (IoT).
This research-driven approach brings together veterinarians, designers, product experts and dairies working together to design and build facilities to optimize animal wellness, reproduction, and productivity specifically for local climates and herds.
The JobThe Project Manager will manage large projects from sales order completion through installation.
The Project Manager will work closely with key department stakeholders as well as external stakeholders including dairymen, dealers, builders, electricians, etc to ensure the project is completed successfully.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage customer projects for industrial and agricultural ventilation and cow comfort systems.
Act as a liaison between customers (internal & external) and internal functions to communicate projects and requirements.
Ensure large projects are delivered on-time, on budget and meet functional and quality specifications.
Forecast, manage and report on project financials, planned vs actual project timelines and resource utilization.
Conduct project meetings, project tracking and analysis.
Ensure all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet customer needs.
Contribute to creation and roll out of process standards where they may not exist.
Communicate timely project status updates to all stakeholders.
Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues.
Maintain all documentation requirements of the project including sourcing drawings, installation manuals, etc and store in a shared location that is easy to access.
Travel onsite to dairy locations or build sites as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, global company Time management skills to self-manage and organize yourself Knowledge of and ability to use design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion Strong electrical and mechanical skills Excellent customer relations and interpersonal relations skills including a high degree of diplomacy
Qualifications:
Technical degree in Business, Construction, Mechanical Design or other relevant field or a High School Diploma with 5
years' experience in a Project Manager role.
3-5
years of experience in a Project Management role Experience with Revit or CAD is desired Prior experience with dairy-related buildings is a big plus Must be authorized to work in the United States Please note:
