Peter School in Tilden is looking for a part-time (25 hours/week) administrative assistant.
Relationship to Administration Reports to Principal or Head Teacher.
Principal Responsibilities 1.
Extends hospitality to all visitors to the school.
2.
Maintains secrecy on all matters of a personal nature that transpire in the school and the parish.
3.
Conducts the clerical business of the school office.
Principal Activities 1.
Welcomes visitors to the school and answers telephone with courtesy, routing requests and calls to appropriate personnel.
2.
Composes routine correspondence; prepares, types, and distributes communications as requested by the Principal or Head Teacher.
3.
May photocopy materials as requested by teachers.
4.
Maintains students' academic records and other school files.
5.
Prepares accounting reports at the end of each month.
6.
Maintains the inventory of office supplies.
7.
Maintains the school calendar.
8.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Principal or Head Teacher.
Qualifications 1.
The ability to operate office equipment including computers and photocopier.
2.
Familiarity with various Google and Microsoft 365 features.
3.
Telephone, reception and clerical skills.
