The District Manager will be based in Chippewa Falls, WI.
Travel approximately 25% of the time is required in order to effectively oversee the other seven locations in central and southern Wisconsin.
This position will report to the VP of Sales and Operations based at the corporate office in Hillside, IL.
Key responsibilities will include:
Oversee all aspects of our Wisconsin operations including:
sales, marketing, production, delivery and installations.
Direct, coach, and develop a staff of thirty employees across 9 locations to ensure all are working successfully towards company objectives.
Conduct regular team meetings with all locations via telephone or video conference to collaborate on and communicate accomplishments and objectives.
Attend meetings in-person with locations requiring more guidance and assistance.
Identify growth opportunities, develop plans of action and work collaboratively with the branch managers on implementation.
Ensure orders submitted for production are complete, clear and manufacturable.
Provide additional training and support to those who need it.
Provide customer service support to branch manager's in the region, ensuring any customer issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner in accordance with company policy.
Oversee general maintenance of branch properties including repairs and small construction projects.
Also responsible for the review and management of all property lease agreements.
Contribute to the development of sales goals and annual plans.
Assist with the recruitment, retention and development of key staff members within the company.
Develop new and enhance existing partnerships with area funeral directors and other external sales representatives.
Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or other educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends and regulations in the marketplace.
First year earnings targeted to be $100,000 - $120,000.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
5 to 7 years of territory management experience.
5
years sales experience.
Ability to work with a high level of integrity with minimal supervision.
Aptitude for accurately reading dimensioned drawings.
Effective time and territory management skills.
Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Ability and willingness to travel 25%.
Valid driver's license with good record.
