To attract a clientele and move merchandise, managers make sure that their store offers the customer service that satisfies the needs and desires of their customers.
Store Managers ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company's standards, staff is fully versed on the target for the day, and excellent customer care standards are met.
Store Managers must live within a 40-mile radius within 60 days of starting the position.
The essential physical requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:
Managing and motivating their staff to increase sales and ensure efficiency Reviewing sales invoices Lead by example, personally demonstrate sales success Manage store revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation Responding to customer complaints and comments Sales and profits of the store.
Take part in all new hire interviews for your store.
Evaluating and counseling store employees.
Schedule, organize and direct assignments.
Maintain, encourage and possess ownership mentality Develop and implement employee performance evaluations and improvement plans.
Effectively manage employee turnover.
Provide a positive working environment and handle employee issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
Ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to company standards.
Utilize labor management tools, including effective scheduling, to maximize productivity, profitability and margins.
Encourage store employees to take ownership for their performance and career development plans; follow up on a regular basis.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure the employees also provide the same level of service.
Communicate, execute, and manage marketing and merchandising programs.
Ensure employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures.
Maintain and utilize surveillance equipment.
Maintain adequate store supplies.
Manage store revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation and delivery of deposits to bank.
Management of all store operational issues, to include store housekeeping, store administrative duties, price changes, etc.
Manage all special orders Responsible for preparation of work schedules and approval of employee hours/time-off for payroll Requirements:
High School Diploma Must be at least 18 years of age At least 6 months of sales/customer service experience Management experience preferred Mornings/Evenings/Weekend availability Working at least 2 weekends per month College Experience preferred Wireless Experience preferred Must be willing to travel for training and meetings Basic PC skills including email, internet, Microsoft Word, and Excel Strong Communication Skills Job Type:
